Geelong is the gateway to the Great Ocean Road, with its ravishing scenery and great surf beaches. The Bellarine Peninsula has an historic lighthouse that is famous internationally as a wedding venue.
Bordering this wine region is the historical western district with its sheep and cattle farming country, historical towns and the Ottoway’s forest.
Location and drive-time
Located 50 kilometres south west of Melbourne, Geelong and the Bellarine Peninsula are an hour’s drive away by Rolls Royce, or another car from our luxury range.

The Bellarine Peninsula wine region produces cool climate whites, Pinot, Shiraz and Cabernet blends.
Landscape and climate
The soils in this wine region are mainly red brown clay loams over a hard
clay base, with some areas of sticky black volcanic clays. The Bellarine
Peninsula enjoys a Mediterranean climate moderated by sea breezes, usually
with long cool dry autumns.

This itinerary may be varied to suit your interests.
- Leave Melbourne CBD at 9:30 am
- Visit 2- 3 wineries
- Lunch with a seascape view
- Visit a couple of wineries in the afternoon
- Return to Melbourne by 5:30 pm.
A visit to historic Queenscliff or the Great Ocean Road may be substituted for the Wool Museum.
